  • The honour of being recognised as a Postgraduate Student member of the ESE;
  • Reduced registration fee at the ESE Biennial Congresses;
  • Reduced fee to attend any pre-congress courses arranged by the ESE (this does NOT include company arranged courses);
  • Invitation to attend other meetings arranged by the ESE, e.g. research/ clinical meeting;
  • Contact with other postgraduate students throughout Europe in the ESE congress and use of the Forum area of the ESE website;
  • If you are on a 3-year ESE-accredited programme automatic qualification when applying for ESE specialist membership. If you are on a 3-year non-accredited programme you are strongly encouraged to apply for ESE specialist status through the appropriate route after completion of your studies. Those on 1 or 2 year programmes are eligible to apply for Certified Membership initially;
  • Emails informing you of events and news of interest;
  • Invitations to social events at ESE congresses;
  • Support of ESE research, developments in education, Position Statement and Guideline development through the PG Student Membership fee;
  • Networking with a group of ESE postgraduate student colleagues;
  • Scientific oral session dedicated to this group at the biennial conference (potential).

Postgraduate students must be registered for an award in Endodontology with a recognised academic institution within member Countries. Trainees engaged on clinical training pathways in Endodontology must provide evidence of their status and proof that they are on a formal nationally recognised training pathway leading to a certificate of completion of specialist training (or equivalent). The status of the student/trainee will be verified with the University/Training organisation and appropriate evidence presented to the Membership Committee for ratification. Those individuals accepted as having ESE Registered Postgraduate Student/Trainee membership status will be reported to the Executive Board and General Assembly. Decisions of the Membership Committee are final.

In order to become an ESE registered postgraduate student confirmation of your enrolment, length of course/training and expected qualification must be provided from the recognised university/institute making the award. Please ask your Programme / training director to provide a signed letter on University / Hospital note paper including the following information:

  • Student Name
  • Length of course
  • Exit qualification
  • Start date of course
  • End date of course
